The classic Italian coffee break comes overseas

On August 31st, Arthur Ashe Stadium will be filled with hundreds of thousands of tennis fans attending the US Open.

For the first time Lavazza will be there, ready to serve the authentic Italian coffee to the fans and players attending the third Grand Slam Tournament.

Passion is the watchword at this US Open.

Lavazza deals primarily with passion. As Marco Lavazza said:

“Tennis and coffee share many common ideals, among them tradition, innovation, international scope and, first and foremost, passion.”

Furthermore, passion is the reason why the company announced a brand ambassadorship with Caroline Wozniacki:Coffee is a daily part of my life and I love that Lavazza shares the same passion for tennis that I do.”

U.S. Open

This year, the over 700,000 spectators will rely on two new Lavazza Cafés, restaurants and other hospitality areas. In addition, Lavazza’s Mobile Café will serve up complimentary coffee and espresso throughout Manhattan. There will be plenty of touch points to experience the classic Italian coffee break in between the spectacular shots of the champions on the court.

Through its relationship with Caroline Wozniacki and the international tennis community, Lavazza is on its way to become the official coffee of tennis lovers worldwide.

Because in a coffee cup there’s always more to taste.
