At the heart of Lavazza’s heritage is a single family’s passion for coffee. The Lavazza story begins in 1895 in Turin, Italy where Luigi Lavazza opened a boutique grocery shop specializing in roasting coffee. Since then, the four generations of the Lavazza family have been dedicated to – above all – the quality, innovation, creation and sharing of authentically Italian espresso and coffee experiences.

Using Lavazza's coffee expertise, the four introduced specialty coffee blends – Gran Aroma, Classico, Gran Selezione, and Perfetto – consist of beans from carefully selected varieties,

blended and roasted with dedicated processes, to result in a range of flavor intensity and taste profiles. Ideal for filtered coffee brewers.

To enlarge our current filter coffee range, Lavazza has introduced two new exclusive single origins made of 100% Arabica beans. Santa Marta comes from Colombia and Kilimanjaro from Tanzania, both developed for coffee enthusiasts s looking for refined tastes among the best varieties in the world.
